I can’t be bothered rehashing every minute detail of the trip after Rotorua, as it wasn’t the happiest time, although it was the best scenery, which is what you’re here for, right?
So, look at some pictures (110 of them so it might take a while to load)! The order gets a bit wacky towards the end because we were using two cameras with two sets of images numbers but you’ll work it out 🙂

I’m sorry you didn’t have a good time. Judging by the photos, I’d have thought you’d had a great one. The rivers are gorgeous and the helicopter ride looks positively terrifying. But everything else looks interesting.
We had lots of good times, but too many unnecessarily unpleasant ones caused by the drivers and tour leader. Also we spent 13 of the 19 days travelling for more than 5, often 6 hours a day by coach (or boat and train). It’s just too much time confined with the same group of people – many of whom behaved badly – and on my arse, feeling vaguely ill (I get travel sick, so I either endure the sickness or take drugs which knock me flat). Once I got the cold, it all became pretty unpleasant so the last six days or so I skipped as much of the activities as I could.
But the good stuff was amazing. We’ll certainly go back!
